NEW VAN CHALLENGE - we need YOUR help to raise £19,500- Our current van is getting old, costing loads of money to maintain (far too much for us to survive) - we desperately need a newer van - for this we need to raise £19,500 urgently. We are asking for people / groups to each raise £500 to help us achieve this target.As of 28th Sept, we had raised £7,344. Please look here for more details. |

Donating Furniture & GIft Aid- On an ongoing basis we need a regular supply of good quality second hand furniture, most of this comes from generous donations from individuals, such as yourself. To donate please drop the item off to us at our Redhill, Surrey warehouse, but please phone first to check we need the items and/or to arrange collection for which we ask for a donation to help with the running cost of our van. Please note: All upholstered items must have an attached fire label.If you are a UK tax payer we not only get sell / pass on your items, but we can claim back any tax via the governments Gift Aid scheme - see our T&C's. Please note: Upholstered
furniture, Beds and Mattresses must have regulation
Fire Labels, otherwise we cannot
legally take your items. Please check our

Donate money- You can just donate money to help our cause, join our Friends of Furnistore scheme. If you are a UK tax payer we not only get your regular or one off donations, but we can claim back any tax via the governments 'Giftaidit' scheme. Fundraising- any help with raising funds is always gratefully received, this can be anything from spreading the word of our charitable work, to organising a raffle, sponsored events and even to running in a marathon. We are currently looking for a Fundraiser, which can either be paid Basic/Commission or voluntary Board/Trustee role, see our vacancies page. |

Volunteering- Your time and talents are required to help out with any of the following:-
There are jobs to suit all from people wanting to get work experience helping them get back into work / as part of your coursework / start working or just people with plenty of spare time on their plate. We currently have over 700 hrs/mth (at Aug 2011) of volunteer time and are looking to increase this by the end of 2011 to over 1,000 hrs/mth - See other info. |
