Donating Furniture - On an ongoing basis we need a regular supply of good quality furniture, most of this comes from generous donations from individuals, such as yourself.  To donate please drop the item off to us at our Horley warehous, but please phone first to check we need the items and/or to arrange collection for which we ask for a donation to help with the running cost of our van. Donate money - You can just donate money to help our cause, join our Friends of Furnistore scheme. If you are a UK tax payer we not only get your regular or one off donations, but we can claim back any tax via the governments 'Giftaidit' scheme.  This will then benefit us twice with just one donation.  To download a form in PDF format just Click DOWNLOAD -->
Fundraising - any help with raising funds is always gratefully received, this can be anything from spreading the word of our charitable work, to organising a raffle, sponsored events and even to running in a marathon.
Accountant or Bookkeeper - Furnistore is looking for an accountant or bookkeeper, with knowledge of charity accounting procedures, to work approx. 3hours per fortnight.  The specific hours of work are flexible between 10- 4pm Monday to Friday.  This person will be responsible for payments, maintaining accounts on Sage package, bank reconciliation, salary payments by BACs and end of month / end of year financial reports. This position carries an honorarium.
Volunteering your time and talents, either in the warehouse (liaising with clients, computer data entry / analysis, office admin / moving furniture around or liaising with clients) or on the van either driving or helping with deliveries and collections.  There are jobs to suit all from people wanting to get experience helping them get back into / start working  or  just  people with plenty of spare time on their plate.
